The Aguata community shield is a football competition designed to encourage youths to actively engage in talent hunts and also to enable them pursue careers in soccer.
The tournament is being organised by the Founder of Tropical Gate Foundation for Sustainable Development ,Apostle Nnamdi Mbaigbo for the youths in the 14 communities of Aguata local government area.
The competition which is at its final stage will come up on Saturday at Amesi Central School field between Achina community and Ekwulobia community.
While Oraeri community and Akpo community will battle it out to clinch the third position.
The overall winner will get N500,000,the second position gets N300,000 while the third position will go home with N200,000.
The chairman of the local organising committee Dr Whyte Nwankwo of the University of Nigeria called on sports lovers, football scouts, club owners and managers as well as the public to attend the grand finale on Saturday.
