Apostle Nnamdi Stanley Mbaigbo hails from Amesi in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria. He attended Christ the King College, Onitsha. Afterwards, he gained admission into the Department of Public Administration/Local Government Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he obtained OND certificate on Local Government Studies and Bachelor of Science Degree in PALG. After graduation, he became a self-entrepreneur, acquiring knowledge in freight forwarding, maritime and IT solution based businesses.
As part of his knowledge growth process, he acquired an Associate Certificate with Certified Institute of Shipping of Nigeria (ACIS) and also pursued his fellowship with the same reputable Institute. He also got certification from IESE (Integrity, Excellence and Spirit of Service) Business School, University of Navarra; Strathmore Business School, Strathmore University (January 2020) and Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.

He is an astute entrepreneur with an insight into maritime and IT solution based business. In 2009, Apostle Nnamdi Stanley Mbaigbo founded Tropical Gate Limited, becoming its Chairman and Managing Director. Tropical Gate Limited is an international clearing and freight forwarding and general logistic maritime consulting company with tested and trusted antecedents guided by their focus which is, “our word, our bond”. The company is also involved in warehousing and vessel chartering haulaging. In 2017, he founded freight Mart Ltd, a warehousing and Distribution Company. In 2019, he also founded Kratos Marinus Global services Ltd, a supply based Service Company. In 2021, he founded the Eragon Construction and Services Ltd with Geiode Services Ltd and Tropical Bet Ltd.  In 2021 also, he founded a non-profit and humanitarian organization, Tropical Gate foundation for sustainable development. He is an investment partner with Valentine Ozigbo foundations with investment portfolio in Decagon Institute. Apostle Mbaigbo is also a visiting lecturer with The Salvation Army Training College Nigeria Territory.

Apostle Nnamdi Stanley Mbaigbo is a tested public leader and global citizen.

Convinced of his spiritual calling, which is anchored in his words that “Great minds and successful people are always spirit filled”, Apostle Stanley Mbaigbo became an active soldier of The Salvation Army and a member of the Full Gospel Business Men Fellowship International (FGBMFI). He is an apostle of change and of restoration. He was called through the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit to fulfill the prophecy of Joel 2:25 which is the restoration to people of their years which spiritual locusts have eaten. Gradually, he was made President of the Full Gospel Business Men Fellowship International (FGBMFI), Apapa Royal Chapter, Lagos. He was also made The salvation army Ambassador, Anambra East Division, and, Member, Board of Trustees, The salvation army officers Training College, Nigeria Territorial, and, member, The Salvation Army Board of Schools.

A man burning with the zeal of service to humanity, Apostle Mbaigbo has sponsored many outreaches to schools and seminars. He has been invited as Guest Speaker to both Full Gospel Business Men Fellowship International (FGBMFI) and The Salvation Army programs all over Nigeria. Some of these programs include: Guest Speaker, in The Salvation Army Kano Central Corp’s program at Sabon Gari, Kano (On October 26, 2019); Guest Speaker, in The Salvation Army, Apata Corps, Jos, Business Seminar entitled “Uncaged: Unleash Your Pottentials” (September 28, 2019); and, Guest Speaker in the Salvation Army Osunmenyi Corps, Back to Base to Break Boundaries program (August 14-18, 2019). He was the guest for the Territorial Youth Delegates Conference hosted by the Territorial Commander for Ghana, Colonel Dr. Samuel Amponsah, and his wife, Colonel Hagar Amponsah, Territorial President of Women’s Ministries and which held in March 2022 at the Tema Community 2 in Ghana.

On January 10, 2020, Apostle Nnamdi Stanley Mbaigbo’s company, Tropical Gate Limited in conjunction with The Salvation Army, organized a free medical outreach in the Salvation Army Amesi Corps compound in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State. During the outreach, patients received free medical eye treatment and glasses, free high blood pressure checks and medication, free cancer test, and general medical services. Again, from the 16th to 18th of November 2021, Apostle Nnamdi Stanley Mbaigbo’s company, Tropical Gate Limited in conjunction with The Salvation Army Anambra East Division, organized a free medical outreach in the Salvation Army Amesi Corps compound in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State. During the outreach, patients also received free medical eye treatment and glasses, spiritual deliverance, salvation, and general medical check-ups. Apostle Mbaigbo was the facilitator for the Salvation Army (Nigeria territory) programme for 2023 territorial Oyo’s workshop/ youth council/honorary youth at heart & Sastugrafe conference, held in February 2023 in Calabar, Cross River State. He was also the Facilitator of a three-day Medical Outreach organized by Tropical Gates Foundation for Sustainable Development in conjunction with The Salvation Army, Anambra East division held in June 2023. He also facilitated a three-day Medical Outreach organized by Tropical Gates Foundation for Sustainable Development in conjunction with The Salvation Army, Anambra West division held in January 2023.

A wonderful philanthropist and public speaker, Apostle Stanley Mbaigbo once said that “Distance and time don’t matter; what matters is the number of students we are able to orientate, empower and equip for a productive life after school”. He organized and sponsored the “Life After School” lectures in many tertiary institutions, including Federal Polytechnic, Oko; Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka; Federal College of Education (Technical), Umunze; Imo State University, Owerri; Federal Polytechnic, Nekede; Federal University of Technology, Owerri; Abia State University, Uturu; Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (formerly Anambra State University), Uli; Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe. Apostle Mbaigbo has also presented “Life after School” papers at the University of Nigeria, Faculty of Arts Students cultural week in 2018 and 2019 respectively.

A healthy body and sports enthusiast who believes in the vision of creating a fit and healthy environment, Apostle Nnamdi Mbaigbo, through Tropical Gates Limited, also graciously sponsored the first edition of the UNN Staff Football competition in 2018. He also sponsored the second edition of the game in 2019, the third edition in 2020, and the fourth in 2021. This has attracted him some prestigious Awards in Sports from the Management and Staff of the University of Nigeria. These include; Pillar of Sports in 2018; Sports Ambassador in 2019, and Sports Fellow in 2020.

Apostle Mbaigbo, through Tropical Gates Limited, also sponsored the Aguata Community Shields (a football competition for youths in Aguata) at the Ekwuluobia Township Stadium from April 4th to 24th, 2021. The participating communities were Ekwulobia, Akpo, Achina, Uga, Igbo-Ukwu, Isuofia, Aguluezechukwu, Ezinifite, Ikenga, Amesi, Oraeri, Umuona, Umuchu, and, Nkpologwu. Individual awards were given to the best player, highest goal scorer, best keeper, best coach, and to the fair play team.

It is on record that the sculpting of the 20-foot Show the Light Hand Statue situated in front of the University of Nigeria Library and the Departments of Nutrition and Dietetics/Home Science and Management, Nsukka, was sponsored by Apostle Nnamdi Stanley Mbaigbo, through his company, Tropical Gate Limited, from January 20, 2020 to December 7, 2020 at a very admirable and respectable cost. The statue stands as a symbol of the Motto of the University of Nigeria which is “To restore the dignity of man”.  The Statue was unveiled and commissioned by Apostle Mbaigbo on his birthday, February 11, 2021.

Apostle Nnamdi Stanley Mbaigbo is a Certified Management Consultant, having completed the Certified Management Consultant Training and Assessment programme at the Institute of Management Consultant, Nigeria on May 27, 2021, in accordance with the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes Competency Model and International Standards. He was also made a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultant, Nigeria in recognition of his outstanding academic and professional standing, and demonstrated commitment to creating, maintaining, extending and promoting the highest world standards of management consulting practice, ethics competence and client service. On September 2, 2021 also, the Government of Anambra State, under the executive leadership of Chief Willie Obiano as Governor, conferred a Certificate of Honour on Apostle Mbaigbo in recognition and grateful appreciation of his contribution to building Education in Anambra State.

Apostle Mbaigbo attended a three-day Sports Business Management hosted by the Lagos Business School from 29th June to 1st July 2021. He is a Certified Management Specialist with distinction in Time Management from the London Graduate School.

He was conferred with a Honorary Doctorate Degree (Honoris Causa) from London Bridge Business School. He is a Fellow of African Institute (DFAI) by Africa Institute of Public Administration. He was also awarded the Kwame Nkrumah Transformational Medallion, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Management (PGMGT). Apostle Nnamdi Mbaigbo received a certificate after attending a webinar on “Maritime Cyber-security Management” held on Tuesday, Oct 27 2020 by Floatsys LLC.

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria sent a letter of appreciation to Apostle Mbaigbo on December 17, 2021 for his sponsorship of the maiden edition of the University ofn Nigeria Sports Fiesta. Apostle Mbaigbo also received a letter of appreciation for community service from the Amesi Improvement Union of Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State on July 16, 2022.

Apostle Mbaigbo is married to Mrs. Onyinyechi Obidike-Mbaigbo with children.
